Never walk to the back of the helicopter
The helicopter is equipped with a small spinning blade located at the rear of the aircraft. It is important that passengers NEVER walk to the back, duck under the tail, or approach the rear of the helicopter for any reason. If you must walk around the helicopter, walk out in front.
Buckle seatbelts before liftoff
It is important that all passengers are buckled before departing. You will be handed your seatbelt by our ground crew as you board the aircraft. Please be sure you understand how to operate the seatbelt and it is snug. Do not remove the seatbelt until the helicopter is fully on the ground and you are instructed to by the pilot.
Understand how to use the aircraft doors
The doors will be opened and closed for you by the MyFlight ground crew. You do NOT need to touch the doors. However, it is extremely important you understand the latch and how to disembark. Please watch the safety video or ask the staff at the location to review the opening and closing process.

Booking a tour with us is easy and can be done in four simple steps:

If you have a pre-booked flight time, we ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your booking time. We ask that each passenger be prompt as when one flight is behind, it interferes with the schedule for the remainder of the day.
If you have booked for an “open-booking” tour, you will be able to fly with us any time during our operating hours which will be listed on your ticket. Upon arriving at the airport, a staff member will check you in and add you to our waitlist.
- Cancellations within 7 days of your scheduled flight are not permitted. Should you choose to cancel within the 7 days of your original booking, no refunds will be issued. This includes bookings made within the 7-day cancellation window.
- Refunds will not be given for weather unless you purchase weather insurance. If you do not purchase weather insurance we will either reschedule your flight or issue a flight credit to be used at a later date and time.
- No-shows will be charged in full, with no refund or flight credit.
- If you choose to reschedule more than 24 hours before your scheduled departure, it is free.
- If you choose to reschedule within 24 hours from your scheduled departure, we charge a flat rate of $50 per reschedule.
- No rescheduling changes may be made to your flight within 2-hours prior to take off. If you are unable to make your flight, it will be considered a no-show with no refund.
At our company, safety is not just a buzzword, but a core value that we take very seriously. All of our pilots are FAA Commercially certified, and they undergo continuous training to maintain their skills and stay up-to-date with the latest safety procedures. We have a team of highly professional and experienced staff who are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for our passengers. Our safety protocols are rigorous and are followed without exception.
From pre-flight checks to in-flight safety procedures, we leave no stone unturned in ensuring that every aspect of our operation prioritizes the safety of our passengers and pilots.
At our company, safety is our top priority. We take every precaution necessary to ensure that our passengers have a safe and enjoyable experience. Our team is made up of highly trained and experienced pilots and ground crew who are dedicated to following strict safety procedures.
We maintain our helicopters to the highest standards and conduct regular inspections to ensure that they are in top working condition. In addition to this, we have a comprehensive safety protocol that includes pre-flight inspections, passenger briefings, and a rigorous maintenance schedule.
Ensuring the safety of our passengers is our top priority, which is why we have strict weight limits in place for our helicopter tours. Our experienced team is trained to calculate the weight and balance of the aircraft to guarantee a safe and enjoyable flight for all.
Each passenger is subject to a seat limit of 300lbs, without exception. To ensure compliance, we use an on-site scale to privately weigh passengers before their flight. Our helicopter can hold a certain amount of weight in total, which depends on various factors such as fuel levels, weather conditions, and passenger weight. While we typically accommodate groups of 3, there may be cases where passengers need to separate or experience longer wait times due to weight restrictions.
If a passenger arrives and exceeds the weight limit, a refund will be issued for that individual only. The rest of the party’s booking can be issued a flight credit or they can choose to fly without that passenger. Please note that a two-ticket minimum is required for all flights.
We welcome guests of all ages, including children. As per the FAA regulations, children under the age of 24 months can sit on an adult’s lap during the flight. For children over 24 months, a separate seat with a seatbelt is mandatory for safety purposes.
We understand that parents and guardians are the best judge of their child’s comfort level during the flight. Therefore, we leave the decision to you if you wish to bring your child on board. We have had the pleasure of taking families with children as young as 2 months old on our tours. Rest assured that our team is trained to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all passengers, regardless of age.
We have a variety of locations across the state of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Tennessee. To see our current available tours please head to our locations page.
While the cabin noise of a helicopter is tolerable during flight, we offer free earplugs to those who would like hearing protection.
Absolutely! We highly encourage taking photos during your tour. You’ll have the opportunity to capture stunning aerial views that you won’t want to miss. Don’t forget to tag us on social media when you share your photos – we love seeing our guests’ perspective of the tour! So, grab your camera and get ready to capture some breathtaking moments.
We recommend wearing comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and shoes, as you have to walk to and from the helicopter outside.
Additionally, please avoid wearing loose clothing, hats, or anything that could potentially fly off during the flight for safety reasons.
We will never fly in unsafe conditions. Safety is our top priority which is why our pilots closely monitor the weather at all times. There can be times when incremental weather makes it unsafe to fly (poor visibility, strong winds, heavy rain, etc). If any modifications need to be made to your flight, we will contact you.
Should this occur, we will reschedule based on availability. We can also issue a flight credit if you are unsure what date and time you’d ;like to reschedule for. A flight credit is for the full amount of your flight.
Refunds are not given for weather unless you purchased weather insurance at the time of your booking.
We recommend purchasing a gift card so that the recipient can book the flight that works best for them. If you want to purchase a flight instead, be sure to put the flight in the name of the person that is flying. The name on the booking must match the name of the passenger. You will also need to email info@myflighttours.com to receive a credit card authorization form that must be filled out prior to flight.
Be sure to bring with your the credit or debit card you used to book your reservation and a photo ID that matches. This also must match the name on the reservation.
Phones and cameras are also encouraged to capture your experience.
