Our departure point is the Detroit City Airport, a remarkable building with a long-standing legacy of serving the people of Detroit, which has been without commercial operators for over two decades. Despite being overlooked by the city, our team saw the potential in this magnificent building and brought it back to life.

With our online ticketing system, you can easily purchase tickets for any of our four (sometimes five) ride options in Detroit, with prices starting at only $55 per rider. Additionally, tickets can also be purchased on-site at our Detroit City location.

Effortless and seamless from start to finish, your helicopter ride experience at our Detroit location begins with a quick 10-minute onboarding process. Simply arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time slot, and our team will guide you through the process before promptly loading you onto your flight. To ensure the utmost comfort and security of our passengers, we provide a comprehensive safety protocol, including a brief 5-minute safety video that all guests must watch before boarding. This not only familiarizes passengers with the safety requirements but also instills a sense of calm and confidence for a worry-free flight experience. The Celebration Package is available for an additional $125 upon checkout.

For those looking for a memento of their experience, our Souvenir Package is the perfect choice. This package includes all the photos taken by our photographers, typically 6-13 images, as well as your choice of MyFlight Detroit T-shirt merch. The package includes 2 shirts and 2 drawstring bags and is priced at $100.

Upon landing, you’ll be greeted by 3-foot marquee light-up letters spelling out “HBD” for the Birthday Package or “I <3 U” for the Love Package. If you’re in search of an extraordinary experience, we’re excited to offer some amazing Add-ons to complement your helicopter ride. Depending on the season, you can select from two to three different Add-ons. Our Dozen Roses add-on is available all year round and comes with a gorgeous bouquet of roses, placed on the seat of the helicopter as your special someone boards. It’s a charming way to bring a smile to their face!

For the thrill-seekers, our Doors-Off add-on is a must-try. As the name implies, we’ll remove all the doors, providing you with an unobstructed view of Detroit City. It’s one of our most sought-after summer Add-ons, offering an adrenaline-fueled experience as you soar over Downtown Detroit. Please note, for safety reasons, loose items such as phones and hats are not allowed during the flight and will be safely stored under your seat. To capture every moment of this breathtaking ride, we highly recommend the Go-Pro add-on (see details below).

With the Go-Pro add-on, you’ll get to utilize your personal hand-held Go-Pro’s 4k image quality and state-of-the-art image stabilization. Prior to your flight, we’ll provide you with a Go-Pro camera, complete with a handheld mount and wrist wrap, allowing you to film your entire flight in a super-wide view. If you opt for the Doors-Off package, the safety wrist wrap will enable you to hold the camera with confidence during the flight. The complete footage will be sent to you via a Google Drive link, giving you the flexibility to edit, share, and post your amazing experience as you please!

When it comes to safety, we spare no effort in ensuring our helicopter rides are nothing short of exceptional. Our pilots undergo rigorous internal and FAA-regulated commercial training, including emergency procedures training. We place safety as our top priority, and this is reflected in the entire experience from boarding to unloading. We follow strict guidelines to ensure a safe and seamless journey, leaving nothing to chance.

We take maintenance just as seriously as safety. All our helicopters undergo strict electronic logging and the most rigorous manufacturer and FAA inspections at regular intervals of 50, 100, 200, 300, and 500 hours of flight time. Our maintenance staff is located right in Detroit, ensuring top-notch care and attention to the entire fleet. With us, you can be confident that you’re in safe hands.  It is no coincidence that we have a ZERO incident record and we intend on keeping it that way.

To ensure your spot, we recommend booking in advance through this page. However, if you do decide to take your chances as a walk-up, no worries! Simply bring your ID and a credit card that matches, and you’ll be ready to take flight. It’s important to note that solo riders are not permitted at our Detroit location, so grab a friend and come enjoy a thrilling helicopter ride that will create unforgettable memories.
